It isn’t any secret that more and more millennials and Gen-Z are deciding to not have kids or start families (In 2020, the fertility rate dropped to 1.6 children per woman, the lowest rate on record). This is due to stagnant wages, climate change worsening, corporate-driven increase in prices, and little to no support from the government — social services aren’t really a priority here in the US. That being said, many people aren’t looking for 3,500 sq. ft. homes for 1 or 2 people to occupy.
Here comes the option of a tiny home — “Although tiny houses seem pretty self-explanatory, they’re more specifically defined as any home that falls under a maximum of 500 square feet.
