And how to avoid making them

1. Overwatering: One of the most common mistakes is giving plants too much water. Overwatering can lead to root rot and other issues. It’s important to understand the specific water needs of your plants.

2. Planting Too Deep: Planting your seeds or seedlings too deeply can prevent them from sprouting or growing properly. Always follow the recommended planting depth for each type of plant.

3. Ignoring Soil Health: Neglecting the quality of your soil is a common error. Soil should be rich in nutrients and well-draining. Consider getting a soil test to understand its composition and BEFORE adding any amendments to it.

4. Choosing the Wrong Plants: Selecting the wrong plants for your climate or not considering the space available can lead to disappointment. Research and choose plants that are suitable for your region and garden size. Check to see what growing zone you are in — although these zones are shifting with climate change

5. Not Paying Attention to Pests: Ignoring or not properly addressing pests and diseases can harm your garden. Regularly inspect your plants for signs of trouble and take action if you see any issues. Check to see what organic or natural ways you can work with these pests.

These are just a few common mistakes, but remember that gardening is a learning process, and making mistakes is a natural part of the journey. Don’t be discouraged by them; instead, use them as opportunities to learn and improve your gardening skills.

Also, end the genocide in Gaza.
